SpringPoint Technologies is currently interviewing for an experienced SharePoint Administrator.  The primary responsibilities for this position include support of the global corporate Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites; internal and external web-based applications; and daily support and maintenance of applications based on SharePoint (MOSS) 2007. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                   

·Support corporate Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites built on SharePoint 2003 and
SharePoint (MOSS) 2007.

·Enhance, maintain, and migrate existing SPS 2003 and team sites to MOSS 2007.

·Provide SharePoint training to individuals or groups.

·Manage system security

·System patching and upgrades

·Performing initial installation and configuration of SharePoint

·Deploying custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages

·Backup and restore

·Integrating SharePoint with Active Directory

·Configuring SharePoint services and settings

·Documenting SharePoint configuration and architecture

·Managing site quotas and file size limits

·Reviewing and monitoring usage reports

·Managing content databases and creating new ones as required

·Administering and maintaining sites and sub-sites

·Managing the site layout (look and feel), structure, and content

REQUIREMENTS:

·Minimum of 5 – 7 years total IT experience with 2+ years of SharePoint experience

·Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)

·MCP/MCTS SharePoint a plus or MCSA/MCSE

·Understanding of Windows Server, .NET, and Team System technologies

·Able to adjust plans and schedules to respond to emergency situations and to meet the changing needs of this company's Investors

·Proven ability to work on teams and communicate with end-users

·Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

·Thorough, detail-oriented work habits with good follow-through

·Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work with a high level of customer service

·Excellent customer service, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
